Managing Food Safety is critical for today’s commercial food production facilities.
A quality food safety program begins with a company policy on producing top quality food. Control of your food safety program lowers the risk of market disruptions and brand attacks while improving bottom line profit. The company policy and food safety program should contain at least the following:
- Training; both at hire and on-going food safety training
- Maintenance standards and personnel requirements
- HACCP plan implementation
- Product handling and quality
- Company policy
- Policy on food safety
- Facility standards
- Transportation
- Internal food safety audits
FACTA always audits food safety utilizing our clients’ company policies and industry standards.
